The main goal of the project Hepatitis, HIV and my home is the functioning of a single point that, through a professional team and a network of educated volunteers, will improve the overall quality of life of citizens affected by hepatitis and HIV and their families, and to establish sectoral and intersectoral cooperation at home and abroad.

Summary:

This project works on:

  • Providing assistance to users in obtaining relevant psycho-social support and professional medical advice related to hepatitis and HIV, and help in adopting a healthy lifestyle
  • Motivating those who test positive to seek further medical treatment
  • Contributing to greater community sensitization for the affected and reducing stigmatization
  • Establishing and developing cooperation with health institutions and related associations

The main goal of the project RIJEKA OF HEALTH is to educate the wider community and reduce stigmatization of the affected, as well as to work on preventing the spread of hepatitis B, C and HIV infection through fieldwork with risk groups and at the District Prison in Rijeka.

Summary:

  • Acquainting the wider community with the risks, forms and methods of prevention, transmission and treatment of hepatitis B, C and HIV
  • Acquainting risk groups with the risks, forms and methods of prevention and transmission of hepatitis B, C and HIV through fieldwork
  • Motivating the wider community, especially risk groups, for testing for hepatitis B, C and HIV, and vaccination against hepatitis B

The general goal of the THEATRE STORIES project is to prevent and reduce the health, psychological and social consequences of risky behaviors among young people through inclusion in prevention activities for young people and adults from their immediate environment. Through project activities, sensitize both target groups for critical thinking and mutual dialogue.

Short project summary:

The project envisions a series of activities aimed at preventing risky behaviors of young people, including young people and their immediate adult environment. The project content is focused on informing, education, development of critical thinking and active participation of target groups.

The general goal of the PSI HE(L)P project is to contribute to the protection, preservation and improvement of the mental health of the population in Primorje-Gorski Kotar and Lika-Senj counties.

Short project summary:

The PSI HE(L)P project, through a multidisciplinary approach, cooperation with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, the Teaching Institute for Public Health PGZ and the Rijeka Prison, is focused on prevention and destigmatization of mental disorders and improvement of mental health of young people and adolescents as a risk group through various educational, advisory and informal activities.
